Product Safety Information My jewelry items are not intended for children under 8 years old. Please exercise caution with your jewelry around small children. Whenever possible, I use components from the list of acceptable materials associated with the California Lead in jewelry law as found here: http://www.dtsc.ca.gov/HazardousWaste/upload/LeadInJewelry_materials1.pdf Occasionally I might have a component which I am fairly certain is lead free, but I do not have the test data required for compliance with the lead in jewelry law. In these cases those items will be noted, and they will not be for sale to residents of California. All of my guitar pick suppliers have assured me that their picks are free of lead. Some of my items contain Swarovski crystals, which are high quality leaded glass. Swarovski is a trusted supplier based in Austria. Swarovski crystals are intended to be worn, not ingested. For safety reasons, my necklaces and bracelets will all have at least one link that is not solid, so that it will open if it got caught on something, rather than breaking or causing injury to the wearer. Your items should hold up to normal wear. Jewelry should be removed before swimming, operating machinery, using harsh chemicals and vigorous exercise. Please contact me for any needed repairs.
